A new 780-feet tall building is taking form in Lower Manhattan, New York City. 50 Street West, a striking 68-storey apartment block designed by internationally acclaimed architect Helmut Jahn, will soon be home to 191 luxury residential condominiums. Delta™ Media Server was chosen by Technology West Group (www.techwg.com) to power the display and deliver maximum image quality and a true-to-life digital experience for viewers. An Infinity II™ quad-head server was supplied with a dual link DVI live capture input.
Architectural services were provided by Helmut Jahn, interior design and finishing services by Thomas Juul-Hansen, branding and creative by DBOX, with Frances Greenburger as developer.
Occupancy of the apartments and penthouses is scheduled for Autumn 2016.
Based at the 50 West Street main sales office, the new high specification visualisation centre allows potential real estate buyers to envisage and experience future residences and their views over the city.
Specialist audiovisual integrator, Technology West Group, designed and supplied an edge-blended curved projection wall to showcase 180-degree ultra-high resolution images which present different elevation views from the new apartments. Controlled by a UHD touchscreen computer, the interactive display allows viewers to switch views on demand and peer through dioramas of particular units for a realistic experience.
